“Hey,” he said to the man preparing the sushi behind the bar. “What's the hold up?! Sushi!!”
I didn’t understand but I recognized the language as Japanese. The man behind the bar looked annoyed.
“Shut the fuck up, bus-boy!” he threw back. I could understand the bus-boy part, but I guessed he was asking for a fight.
“You wanna die?!” the man said.
“Bring it!!” the other spat.
“Violence is bad,” the man with the scars said calmly and the other began heaving belly-deep laughs.
