The World? Effed Up.

Ok.
So.

(I just realized I start off most of my journals like that...)

Anyways,
I'm honestly shocked at how ignorant and messed up this world is.
This month alone 4 young men have committed suicide over harassment for being gay.
Three of them were under the age of 16.
Merely teenagers, isn't there something wrong with that?

I honestly feel that in this day and age the world should be more accepting, but maybe that's just my opinion.
It's so sad to hear things like this, and it makes me lose humanity in this world.
NO ONE should ever have to have gone through what any of those boys did.
The world is seriously messed up.

I feel that there are very few good people left in this world.
The people who teased and made these boys life a living hell should live with the guilt of this on their hands, in my opinion.
Nothing gives you the right to make fun of another person for being different.

I'm glad my I go to a school where kids aren't afraid of being themselves because they might get bullied and whatnot.

This world needs a serious reality check, because I don't ever want to hear about something this saddening, ever again.
