Summaries

Some people don't write summaries, because they think it will give to much of their story away. To be honost if a story doesn't have a summary I don't read it I just push the back botton.
Now I'm sure some of those stories are good, but I would know. The summaries of the story is like the back of the book. I have never bought or read a book when I haven't read the back. I'm sure most people read the back too.
Summaries could be just introducing the characters and what they like to do. On my first story I put a chritcle point of my story. One that made you interested in the story. You got to grab the interest of people, so they want to read. Reveal some stuff, but them put some things that make you question. Those things like: She still had nightmares every once and a while about him, but that isn't what this story is about.
See now you want to know who "Him" is. You know that if you keep reading you'll eventully know. All I'm saying is that to grab more readers you got to get the interest of people.
It always bugs me when the title sounds good, but then there is no summary. 'Cause I don't know what it's about so I'm not going to read it.
