I Want Your Opinion

So I am writing this Ville Valo fan-fic, which is called The Canonization, anyway I started writing it in the first person and I have been switching from the two main characters back and forth. Now I want to bring in a third major character, but it just won't work in the third person. This is my first story so I'm wondering should I just randomly go into third person? Should I rewrite it? Just forget it?

And another (unrelated) thing: There is this guy I dated, we broke up, it did not end well. Now he is doing drugs and he is about to drop out of school. Should I say something? Try to help? Let him go to hell in a hand basket? We are in our last year if it matters...

Finally, someone on here suggested I listen to Rammstein. They are so amazing. Do you listen to them? Rammstein song suggestions? Other music suggestions?
