My Chemical Romance menace to society

na na na. is that the droning sound of Ndubz fans i hear? no. its my chemical
romances new song.

fed up of the same set and wearing the same costumes, emos and general
dislike, this is said to be the album that rids them of stereotypes and changes
their fan base drastically.
... so what do they do? come out of the caves they inhabit wearing eighties
gear, carrying old fashioned 'ray' guns dying their hair outrageous colours to try
to be punk, and start to reel in the younger more unintelligent fans.

Emo has changed over the years and in my opinion has molded into scene and

the two go along quite nicely. now the latest from emo is RETRO, playing old
games consoles in a bid to be cool, staying at my space because its more
empty there (like their soul). stupid hair do's and bright colours go along with
the scene image in a attempt to be different... yet they all look the same?
seems to me mcr, knowingly or not have regained the same audience but on a
bigger scale. the latest song had me nearly crying at the stupidness of the
name. i mean seriously na na na? a few chavs almost looked happy as i
played this song near them until they realised that it was as they cleared up for
me 'emo'.

whilst my chemical romance have been in the cave writing music, i have seen
multiple pictures appear on facebook, and for $49.99 it can be yours! signed
by a few members of the band and in very limited stock. these appeared every
couple of days. seems like a nice life, not doing any work and already had at
least a couple of grand from your fans for a piece of paper...which you really
could of just printed off of the Internet.

but what really inspired me to write this was the fact that a multi million pound
record label that Will earn more than it will ever need is asking for $70 for a CD,
a fake plastic ray gun that probably does nothing, a mask that can be easily
made probably worth 4 quid,
a 48-page photo booklet entitled "Art Is The Weapon"...so just photos right?
Everything housed in a special BLI white box wrapped with an exclusive photo
sleeve... so a box with a photo on it?
and to top the new image off? bad luck beads.. nothing more emo than walking
around wanting bad luck.
the idea that kids will be walking around wearing these masks carrying these guns, for the people who cant afford it, will feel left out at gigs, and yes i am a fan, yes i could buy it if i wanted to be stupid, but for those 'hardcore' fans wanting to feed the record label imagine feeling left out at a place you should feel most comfortable.
as a fan liked the initial idea of a few photos and the CD. at the price i
immediately clicked off the page.

I'm almost too scared to listen to the album. the latest song, admittedly has
one thing that songs at the moment are missing... that happy vibe. the song is
very mainstream but also different in its own way.

i don't mean to offend anyone. and nor do i mean sway the general public, but

lets face it, they wouldn't listen to me anyway.
