Days 78-86 // Nothing Is The Same After Seeing Someone Die.

Yesterday, I was driving to school in the morning, I saw something I never thought I would see. I saw someone die. I saw his corpse on the highway. There was a motorcyclist, who was only 19, speeding, and not braking, and he smashed into the back of a large van. He died on impact. There are few things worse then seeing a corpse in the middle of the road.
I was shocked at what I had seen. Traffic was jammed for over an hour, but it didn't matter. The overwhelming feeling of sadness took over. It was something I had never planned on seeing. It is something I hope you never have to see.

It all happened because the kid was speeding, and not paying attention. People need to take driving more seriously, so we can avoid seeing things like this. Just take this as a lesson, and pay attention to the road. Put the cell phone away, don't speed, and be alert; it doesn't take much to get into a fatal accident.

Things always got worse when I found out my friend's cancer spread into his lungs. This just hasn't been a good week.

Things have to get better though, right?
