What makes you want to read a story?

So, I'm curious to hear what makes a fantastic story on mibba. My friend made a fanfic about Avenged Sevenfold and she has fans eating at every word. It seems like the only kind of story people on here like are ones that deal with Avenged Sevenfold, and sex (to be honest). Is that all people look for on Mibba? I don't listen to bands like that so I couldn't make an accurate story, and to be honest, I hate writing sex scenes. Stories can be good without it! Go find porno somewhere else!
