Screams from little girls(am I going crazy?)

OK last year I was home with my two younger sisters. Mom and dad were at our new house(which were in now). There was this little girl named Bell who lived up the street. She had lost her dog and came to my house. The road we lived on was bad. Like drug dealing and kid mulesters. I wasn't going to open the door at night no matter what. She came to the door and started beating on it and jiggaling the doorknob. It scared the hell out of my sisters. I told them to run to a room and lock the door and call mom and dad. They did as I said. Then she ran to my window screaming for someone to please open the door. (at the time i didnt know it was her or why she was there) I freaked. I'm a kid saver and protector and to hear a kid screaming my name and crying for me was the worst thing I've had happen. She scared the hell out of me. My mom and dad raced home so fast they beat the police by 30 min. Now for the last few weeks I keep hearing young girls just like her screaming outside the front of my house. There screaming no please no don't please. Is it just me going insane or should I ask next door?
