Valentines day

Happy valentines day. All week I've being going
Over this holiday in my head and what it means to
Me. I'm not going to lie and say I'm not a hopeless
Romantic. I daydream about being swept off my feet
Almost everyday but I don't believe valentines day is
What we have made it out to be. With all te cards, gifts,
Roses, candies and so on. Not that I as a girl wouldn't
Appreciate all of that from a guy, it's just stuff.
Valentines day I feel is something more than we all
Actually look at and give it credit for. A day of love, your
Thinking duh we know that but your not getting what I'm saying.
It's a day to love the people around you and show them how
Much you care about them. When was the last time you got
Your best friend a card or flowers or a stuffed animal, something
To say thank you for listening to me, for being there when
I needed you, for lettinge trust you above anyone else.
Not just your best friend how about your mom or dad, did you
Buy them a box of chocolates saying thank you and I love you
For all you've done for me.
Maybe you have done all these things and maybe you haven't
But my real point is today is not just about that special someone
It's about everyone around you. The people who laughed with you,
Cried with you, done something absolutely crazy with you, and
Have just been there for you. So don't spend today in the though of
Singles awareness day if your not with someone special, instead find
Some way to say I love you to the people who matter. I hope you enjoy
Your valentines day whether your single or with someone it doesn't matter.
Just enjoy today and spend it with loved ones.:)
