The Life I signed up for.

Well how does anyone start this off? I guess I will begin with the basics. I am nineteen years young and have been born and raised in California. I married my best friend and high school sweet heart 3 months after I turned 18. We are happily married and love being newlyweds...WRONG! We do enjoy being married and truly love and care for each other but our marriage isn't the usual case. I married a United States Marine who happens to be a 0311/8153. If you don't know what an 0311 is that is the MOS for Infantry Rifleman. Infantry is more likely to be deployed but because of his secondary mos 8153 he has not been deployed to Afghanistan. 8153 is Marine Security Forces who go on MEU deployments that consists of jobs like that are needing security. We have been married since July 2009 and have spent a total of 2 and a half months together. It's not the usual marriage most people in the country have but we make do with how things are going. After all it is the life I signed up for. From the moment I said 'I DO' that was my signal for living a life among the silent ranks.
