What I Learned In University- Friend As A Roomate

You're staring a new school, you're moving away from home and oh my god. A friend is going to the same school as you? That's great! You can room together, it will be awesome.

[Insert record stopping sound effect]
Reality check: It will not. It's tempting to do this, believe me I know I have made this mistake.
Having someone familiar there with you does make the transition easier, just don't fall into the trap.

The first few days, weeks may be great. Then it won't be so much later.
If you are not already uber close with this person you will become so and trust me there are things about them that will bug you. They will be little things but because you live with them they will be magnifyed. They will eventually dirve you crazy and you won't like your living situation after awhile.

Of course this doesn't ALWAYS happen.
But 80% of the time...yeah it will.
