..How do you actually know?

It may seem like a stupid question, but there any actual dead give aways to when someone likes you?

This guy at school. I really would like to know if he likes me.

He sits behind me in history. He sits there and plays with my hair, puts pens in my hair, kicks my chair, pushes on the back of my chair to push me forward, whispers my name then looks away like he hasn't done any thing, tells me that I'm the one who got the top mark in the test when we don't know the marks. Just weird little things?

He also sits next to me sometimes in science. He takes my text book, throws my work book away, shakes the desk so I can't write properly, and then just weird stuff.

I really didn't think he liked me, it never crossed my mind. I thought he was just being a dick. My friend who sits in full view of him annoying me in history thinks he likes me. I told her no, but she keeps saying he does.

It just kind of got me thinking, you know? What if he does like me?
I don't like him. I actually hated him up until about half way through last year. I just did not like him at all. So what happens now? I'm still a bitch to him, well..kind of. Only messing around with him. I'm not really very nice though. I've kicked him in the shins a good few times. Lost my temper with him. Only when he deserved it, though. I can't ever see myself liking him like that. Never.

The main point of this Journal is really just to ask, how would I really know without asking?
