Less attractive teens have a hard time being accepted, Good looking kids have a hard time finding true friends. Unemployed can't find a job, Workaholics can't find time for family. Grandma's fighting her last breaths, Baby sister's fighting for her first. The Earth is taking Global Warming hard, The Sun can't get that solar flare under control. The whole universe has problems....? but somehow we keep moving forward. Yet we still get on with our daily lives.
On a side note
I've been thinking, and I find it interesting that the one common thread between religions is the belief in perpetual consciousness, be it in some type of metaphysical afterlife or otherwise. You would think that this would imply that one of our deepest desires is to live forever and yet, when asked the age old question "If you could live forever, would you?" the general consensus seems to be "No"??
