I’ve been hurt before. Really too many times to count. I was scared to let you in. Scared that you’d turn around and leave once you saw the worst parts of me. I didn’t want you to be like them, the ones I trusted before. One day they were right here with me, the next, nowhere in sight. So I let go of my fears and held onto our hand. Giving you my heart is something I’ll never regret. You’re my other half, the yin to my yang, you totally complete me. All this just to say I love you, more and more each day.
