What a perdiciment

So I'm not sure how I get in these positions but, after last night I'm defiently in one. So a girl Ive grown up with my whole life and whos been a huge ass hole to be for the last 2 years now was recently dumped by her boyfriend cause he 'wants to be single' which I don't blame him. But the thing is last night (we have all the same group of friends) we were at one of my bestfriends birthday party's downtown Vancouver at one of the really awesome clubs there and he happened to be there. He as in the guy who dumped my friend sorta thing. Now he's the same age as me and we have like everything incommon, he makes lots of money, and hes really sweet and goodlooking. So the whole night he had his eye on me and then he ended up asking me to dance, so we do that and he happens to kiss me while we are dacning. My best guy friend freaks out and has a hissy fit so the guy I was dancing with had to stay in my hotel room with me and 4 other people. So we go back to the hotel and hung out for hours with all my friends talking and he was really sweet the whole time and would hold my hand and then had his arm around my shoulder. We were practically cuddling the whole time and he slept with me in my bed and was cuddled to me the whole time and then today when we got up to leave and then go for breakfast he was still holding my hand and that sorta thing. He even drove me home from my friends place. The thing is, my friend and him broke up like 2 weeks ago and she's been a total cunt and wont even talk to me, yet he was incredibly nice to me. I don't know what to do... I mean it's too soon obviously to date him, but should I at all? I know 2 of my friends would get mad. My best girlfriend says the girls a bitch and doesn't even bother with her anymore. But I dont' know what to do now! Ugh men suck sometimes
