(((Never finished)))

To start this journal entry, I must share a quote by Irv Kupcinet. In this one line, and in almost as many words as I am years old, Kupcinet describes society as I see it. Putting my would-be-mocking view into a simple sentence, Kupcinet writes words that hold such truth that it is a little sad. As we, both see it, we both must ask,

“What can you say about a society that says God is dead and Elvis is alive?”

However, that hardly will make enough of an argument to make my journal “A” material. Therefore, I will explain what society is to me. To me, society brings the word “social” and “community” up instantaneously in my mind. I picture groups of things. More specifically, I would say I picture people; however, that is not society as a whole but only one part. It is the human society part of the general society.

Therefore, society must be a group of things. However, only groups of things with in your environment are part of your society. For example, the people in China are not part of my society or community because there in environment is different from mine and our environments do not overlap at all.
