My first entry... ever

This is my first entry in my journal.

I wrote a new story today... one I thought up of yesterday. It's been read more than my other one.

I learned...

a story has to catch attention from the first page
it has to be something a lot of people like to read to be popular
mostly romance, romance, romance

:/ i smell like smoke from making a fire...
we burned wood today outside, clearing out the brush. all the time out there, I was thinking, I want to be writing my story. I came up with a lot of ideas, but I doubt I'll use any in my story...

We're going to grandma's house in a little bit. I like to go there, but I hate that there, I can't work on my story. I could take it with me, but those bugs' prying eyes cannot be blocked.

I think... I'm really considering becoming a writer when I grow up... It was originally an animator, but I'm having doubts because I suck at drawing... most of the time.
