Not too long ago we introduced a new chicken breed to our flock, Langshans. We had heard only good things about them, so we got a pair of chicks and I played with them in the sun every day it was sunny.
Well, one day I just had the baby hen out, and I just love her because she hides underneath me when she's scared, and she always stays near where I am, and lets me pick her up without a fuss (And if you do not know, all this is amazing for a baby chicken, usually). So, at one point I got tired of being in the sun and moved into the shade, but she didn't follow me, and I wanted her nearby...My first thought was to call her like a dog, but saying "Chickie" since she doesn't have a name yet...Here are some videos of what happened afterward:

Don't you just love her? I didn't use any treats to get her to come to me, just calling her. I have never had a chicken like that, but once, and she was a Buff Orpington. I hope this chick stays this sweet! She is the sweetest chick ever =)
If any of you have any name suggestions, I would be happy to know them; this little girl needs a name!
