A family of COMPETITIONS!

I just came into the realization that my whole family don’t act like family at all. It’s all about competitions of “WHO IS BETTER,” “WHO GOT THE MORE TALENTS,” and “WHO INHERITED THE TRAITS OF MY GRANDPARENTS.”

I've written blogs about how I don’t have my comfort zone on my own family and that during gatherings I don’t belong at all. Praise here and there but there are sarcasms behind their voices showing they don’t like what they just said.

Favoritism, hiding secrets, lies and backbiting, is that how suppose family act toward each other? Is money and honor more important than simple life contentment? Believe it or not my family is like that. I was surrounded by people like them since we moved in this city. It’s my father’s side and I already told him many times that his family has some attitude problems especially when socializing with each other, but he wont listen. May be he already knew the fact that if he will just shut his feelings and keep his pride he will have no problems.

I want my old life back when I’m just a little girl running freely in the world…

No wonder I got this bizarre attitude.
