"My Chemical Romance are emo"....

Don't hate me, i know they're not.

But y'see... i was being a loner and walking my dog Jake, and i was sat on the bench in the rain. These two... middle aged women are wandering past, and i pick up a snippet of the conversation.
"It's bands like My Chemical Romance which turn the kids emo. Just listen to the lyrics to see! I mean, 'Mama we all go to hell' Whats all that about? My daughter listens to them and ever since she's turned depressed." Then they walked off. So.. being the nosy and now pissed off idiot i am, i got up and followed them [stalkerish I know, but i was very pissed off] pretending i was walking Jake the same way as them. They carried on:

"Yes, yes i know they encorage young teens to self-harm and rubbish like that, just to fit in with the songs." The other lady said, the one with brown hair.

"I know, thats exacaly what i've been saying! They encorage young adults to become depressed-" then i walked away 'cause one of them turned round and gave me and evil look 'cause i was glaring at them...

Just that little tiny bit of their conversation had me pissed off! They're not emo and they don't encorage people to self harm. If anything they help stop it. I felt like saying.. well more like yelling that to them but i didn't. I wish i did now though...
