Newbie | Username | Story Suggestions?

So, I'm new.
A friend of mine used to have an account on here (I did all her profiling/layouts/whatever) which why mine looks so spiffy. All I don't know is how to use this site. Blah. I'll figure it out eventually, but help is nice. Any help!

My username is retarded. I know. It's derived from the word "pharmakos" which in Ancient Greek religion was a kind of human "scapegoat" (usually a slave/criminal/cripple) who was chosen and expelled from the community at times of disaster (famine, invasion or plague) or at times of calendrical crisis, when purification was needed. "Pharmakos" later became "pharmakeus" (a drug, spell-giving potion, druggist, poisoner, by extension a magician or a sorcerer). "pharmakon" is a variation of these terms meaning sacrament, remedy, poison, talisman, cosmetic, perfume or intoxicant. The modern term "pharmacology" then emerged. Tada!
