Music does not have to be just for one type of people!

At school this year I noticed that people had been like judging me and saying stuff behind my back. I talked to one of my close friends and they said that because people know I like Lady GaGa they think I'm gay. It really ticked me off because that's really kinda stereotypical. You don't have to be gay to like Lady GaGa. I mean, I'll admit I like her much more than most people but, does this make me gay? They don't know that I mostly listen to alternative and rock bands like Paramore, Flyleaf, Cartel, Boys Like Girls, etc. Just cuz I'm a guy I don't always have to listen to rock. Music should not make people jump to conclusions about a person. Who really even cares!? It's like people saying goth people can't like pop music. My goth friend listens to a lot of pop. Or that the cheerleaders only listen to pop. It's really stupid in my opinion. I'm kinda sick of it. Anyone else feel this way?
