Yay Tutorials: Neon Eyes.

I've been writing a couple makeup tutorials on GSB, I figured I'd post them here too, if yinz are interested. So heres my first tutorial:

Here's a 12 step tutorial for super bright eyes. =D

Optional 1st step: Apply concealer, foundation, and setting powder of your choice. I used Covergirl Clean Foundation in 510 Classic Ivory, and set it with Palladio's Translucent Rice Powder

Step 2: Prime your eyelid with a eyelid primer, or a small amount of concealer, this makes your eye shadow last longer and prevents creasing. I use ELF Eyelid Primer.

Optional Step 3: Apply NYX white eye shadow base to make your neon colors look even brighter

Step 4: Apply neon yellow from the corner of your eye, 1/3 of the way in

Step 5: Apply neon orange in the middle 1/3 of your eye, blending where it meets the yellow, to make a gradient effect and avoid harsh lines

Step 6: Apply neon pink eyes shadow on the outer 1/3 of your eye, blending it into the crease.

Step 7: Apply a eye shadow similar to your skin tone on your brow bone.

Step 8: Using a angled eyeliner brush, draw a thin line of neon green eye shadow on your lower lash line, then apply black pencil or gel liner on your waterline, to make the green shadow look more intense

Step 9: Line your upper lash line with your favorite black eyeliner. I used an angled eyeliner brush and NYX black eye shadow

Step 10: Apply mascara. I used one coat of Maybelline's The Colossal in Black.

Step 11: Apply blush and/or highlighter to your cheeks. I used ELF's Natural Radiance Blush in Shy on my cheeks, and Essence's Shimmer Powder in Prettylicious to highlight.

Step 12: Apply clear or sheer lip gloss, you don't want your lips to distract from your eyes. I used Mark.'s Juice Gems lip gloss in Juicy Pomegranate

And you're done =D your results should look like this:

For my eye shadow colors I used BYS' 5 Neon palette, which is only available in Australia, New Zealand, and Malaysia. For dupes, try the Kryolan UV dayglo palette, or Sleek's Acid Palette (UK only).
