Okay. I never really use my journals on here. But for once, I really feel like I need to for this reason:
There's a contest going on with American Eagle. It's not me that entered in it, because honestly, I don't care about the contest itself. The winner will get $3,000 dollars, which really, is a lot of money. So far on Tumblr, there are people who are entered talking about how they're going to buy a new camera or a new computer with their winnings.
There's a blogger, Ty,( found on distinctmemory.tumblr.com) who entered this contest. He's not keeping any of the money he wins. He's plenty wealthy enough, thus, having no need for an extra $3,000 dollars. He's decided that, if he wins, he's donating it all to ADVERT. If you don't know what that is, you can go to www.advert.org to read all about it. They're a UK based charity, who works for prevention of HIV and AIDS.
I'd really love for him to win this. It's such an amazing cause and it's an amazing thing he's doing. He decided he was fed up with everyone using it for their own personal gain; he's decided to help out a charity.

I've been using every social networking site I'm on to try and get people to help out. So far I've used my Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr as much as I possibly can.
