so the story line is that Murphy's ex girlfriend from when they were teenagers has been murdered, and left him with a thirteen year old daughter

her name is Asher and she is MESSED UP.

She hates him, so he has to try and form a relationship with her while hunting down the murderer.

but Asher already killed the murderer.
