People and Breakups Stories!

Geez, what is WITH people? I mean, I'm not that great of a writer, but I have several poems out. My poem with the highest hits happens to be about a devastating break up I almost had. And it has THE MOST HITS.

I don't get it, I mean I know people write these poems for people to read, but why are the ones about depression, death, cutting, sadness, boys/breakups always the ones with the highest hits?

Do people ENJOY reading depressing things? And, I mean I have one about a finding a Dragonfly wing. Kay, kools, a dragonfly wing, that's cool. And then more misc. stuff, but still, the one that cut open my heart and made me cry for three days has the one with most most hits! I just don't understand society, I guess. I mean, I normally don't go rootin' for a breakup story. It would make some people say-add. XD
