Joking about rape? Don't. Just...please, for the sake of others, don't. To joke about any sort of harassment is just wrong. It's a serious topic and shouldn't be thrown around so lightly.
I do laugh at things that shouldn't be laughed at, and no, I don't always have a guilty conscience over it. We all do that. But when people constantly joke about rape, molestation, pedophilia, abuse, etc it really, really bothers me. I have so many reasons to feel that way.
If you think they're funny, great. I won't be mad at you.
I just personally feel very strongly about this and that it's not funny in the least bit. I know plenty of people who do laugh at jokes like that, and, okay, fine. I'm not going to render you a terrible person because of that. But I don't think it's right. I don't think dead baby jokes are right. I think any joke along those lines are just wrong. Completely wrong.
While I can't promise I won't be really f*cking irritated by someone joking about rape or any sort of sexual harassment in front of me, I won't go off on them.
But...ugh. I don't know. I'm in that people = sh*t mood right now. Today's been sucky.
I'm not one to get easily offended, but this is NOT funny.
