The most underrated Greek gods.

Eros and Hephaestus, hands down.

The only small bit of appreciation Eros ever gets is through his Roman counterpart, Cupid. Though, personally, I have always thought of the Roman gods as different from the Greek ones, regardless of them being the "same".

Eros, as many myths have proclaimed, is often shown as the son of Aphrodite and Ares or Aphrodite and Hermes -- but there's another myth I'm not so sure anyone is really aware about, and this myth made Eros, probably, my favorite Greek god. As, he is, but this myth just impressed me.

He was apparently fathered by Chaos -- formed from Chaos from a cosmic egg, that when he hatched from, put time into motion. Technically being the brother of Nyx, then, he brought Gaia and Uranus together. He put it in motion and was what created life, pretty much.

Take that Cupid. And am I the only who could see Eros as a bad-ss archer?

And Hephaestus, need I even say why he's underrated? He made armor for Hercules, he made Pandora, Pandora's box, he made things for Achilles, he made Zeus' lightning bolts, he made things for Hermes. I think that deserves a little bit more credit than he receives. And he's pretty much the only one on Olympus who isn't a child who throws a temper tantrum.

Much better than Zeus, I'd say.

But my list is as follows:
01. Eros
02. Hephaestus
03. Helios -- who is technically a Titan who betrayed his fellow kind during the Great War.

But don't get me wrong, I enjoy some humans from Mythology.
01. Medea
02. Heracles ((not to be confused with Roman Hercules))
03. Atalanta
04. Polydueces {{Pollux))
05. Castor

But what about you guys?
01. Who is your favorite Greek god?
02. Favorite Greek hero?
03. Do you prefer the Roman or Greek gods? Their names, I mean.
04. Who can tell I have no life, as, I know all this about Greek mythology?
