First electric guitar

I'm currently learning guitar and my teacher says I'm a natural

Now he says it's time for me to buy my first electric guitar

He recommends an Ibanez guitar as my first, cuz he dislikes Fenders and Yamahas aren't really his thing

Should I go with his advice or choose something else?

I heard Ibanez were good guitars

And what would be a good first song to learn on electric guitar?

I want to learn how to play A7X and MCR songz cuz I am a big fan of both. Well if u look at my stories it is obvious
