I know I'm new but......

Does it usually take forever to get people to read your stories? I mean i've written four stories now and still i barely get one or two readers usually. And these stories aren't the usual my chemical romance, avenged sevenfold, or harry potter fan fictions. I've written four orginal stories that just popped up in my teenaged head. I joined this in order to get feedback on my writing, but it's kind of hard when no one comments or even gives the story a chance. It makes me feel kind of sad since i'm probably not the only one that thinks about this. I bet there are a lot of writers on here who want to become famous authors someday, and they aren't even given a chance.
