How Can You Resist Temptation?

Hey guys! I was just thinking . . . how can you possibly resist temptation? I just saw on the news that a teacher had sex with five guy students in Ohio. Those guys could've walked away, most of them were football players, their much stronger then the girl teacher. They could have walked away. So why didn't they? Why didn't they resist temptation? How CAN we resist temptation?
Like, the other day, a boy I knew was standing really close to me and I hugged him and I did it out of temptation, I was close to kissing him but then I realized that I had a boyfriend. But, I was so close! How did I resist temptation?! How didn't those boy's resist temptation?

This was just on my mind and I wanted to know others opinion so please comment and tell me what you think.
