"Speak friggin' English."

Today I took the public transit to school like I normally do and when I got on the second bus these two Japanese girls got on the bus like they normally do. The two girls were talking in Japanese to each other, nothing strange. They weren't bothering anyone, except apparently for the guy sitting in front of them who said, "Speak friggin' English."

Right when he said that I got really upset. He had no right to tell those girls what language to speak. No right whatsoever. I can understand it being annoying not to understand what they were saying, but that was uncalled for.

Then one of the girls said (in perfect English I might add) that they have the right to speak whatever language they wanted to. That and the cold look he got from everyone in the bus shut the man up. Thank god no one took his side...
