Does everyone feel like after the whole Harry Potter books, books have gone down. In quality I mean. J.K. Rowling had to go through eight, eight (well, I believe it's 8) publishers before finding one that finally took her. I bet their still kicking themselves.
Anyways, to me it just feels like after that, expectations of books have gone down. Now, it seems, just about anyone can get published. Trying to find the 'new' Harry Potter.
Now, I'm not saying that there aren't awesome books out there like The Hunger Games, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, the Study Trilogy and so on. But just now.. as more and more are published... I guess its like food and clothes. Quanity is more valued than quality. But guess what sells, sells.
Watch this, it really has nothing to do with ^that^ but I just saw it today while on the computer in school and was shocked. Hehe, last hour teacher talked on phone all hour basically. :D
This is just all what I think, it's been on my mind a lot
