I'm a faggot :D

I was just gonna make a journal about being gay at my school. I'm bored and I think it's interesting to read about how other areas react to gay people and I thought I'd clear up a few stereotypes about Alabama while I'm at it.

So, I'm gay. And I live in Alabama. Most people at my school are actually really cool about it. Every now and then when I'm walking down the hall holding hands with Hannah, some asshole football players will yell some offensive gay term at us, but neither of us really care. Everyone else is really just curious about it, and I don't mind people asking.

My friends (except for a few bitches) are all accepting and love me anyway. These four girls that used to be my best friends glare at me in the hallway and deleted me on Facebook. They tell me I'm just a lesbian for attention. Which is very logical seeing as my girlfriend and I have been dating for almost a year now. Bitches.

I love it when people are comfortable enough with it that they can joke about it. Like our friend Sam, he yells "LESBIANS," at me and Hannah whenever he sees us and makes everyone around us really uncomfortable. And these other two guys will be all, "Nick, Nick, look, there's lesbians," and Hannah will be all, "Abbie, Abbie, look, there's straights." Then most other people just act like we're any other couple, which is awesome. People tell us we're really cute. ^-^

Okay, well that's all. I'd be interested to know how people at your school react to gay people. :)
