I recently found a writing scholarship worth a fair amount of money and all I have to do is write a 17,000 word science-fiction story but I am having a hard time thinking of anything that could be turned into a good story. I have a faint idea what I want the story to be about, but everything in between is fuzzy and I'm not sure if it will help me at all. If any of you would be interested in helping me please please do. God knows I need all the help I can get. Even if you just give me a topic idea or a piece of dialog that I can use in the story that would help a lot.
