I have had countless experiences with people at my school, people on youtube, etc. that are just mind numbing. Sycophants of religion (mostly Christians, as they seem so desperate to instill fear and idiocy in people, yet I'm not allowed to "recruit," as they say, more gays. Hypocricy! Blasphemy! Blarg!) constantly try to convert me with their moot points and invalid statements about how the only way to live morally is with religion as a plus (actually, minus). "Hi, I'll take the plate of morality, medium rare, and oh, I'd like a side of intelligence and understanding with that. Yes, to go. Thanks!"
Not to mention the OVERWHELMING truth that I am an abomination 'cause I like dick, and as a result I will burn in hell. It can't be all bad though...being in a super HOT place with delicious dudes...

This incessant bombardment of irrational filth is suffocating. Religion is a complete detriment to society. It does nothing but harm. Maybe not to the religious, but to those around them.
