I got a job! . . . . and whats the first thing I'm going to buy?!?!?!-Dream big . . . remain broke?

I GOT A JOB! I'm so excited. I'm going to be working at a retirement home and pretty much serving and delivering food to the people who live there. Easy enough right? I hope. Watch its super hard and I have a spaz attack. . . . -_-

Bummer thing about it is I have to work every other weekend (blah whatever, I guess I'll survive) and then I have to work holidays which is kinda going to be hard just because my family is all into big celebrations for holidays. . . . I don't really mind if I miss my dads side of the family's Christmas or Thanksgiving. I don't really get along with them.

Of course the money I earn is mine (durp) and what am I going to do with it you ask? Well I could buy a phone, a car, a laptop . . . . a vacation, some clothes.

WAIT! A what? A vacation?

Yes I said it. I, Kristen Hawkins is going to save my money up through out the year up in till the end of summer and I'm-with a few friends-are going to reserve a hotel room and plane tickets for . . . . (DA DA DA DUUUUM) . . . . CANCUN MEXICO!!!!!! For spring break baby! But to achieve this dream vacation I have to save up $2000-$3000. So even though I have a job I really don't have any money. So my financial status remains the same , , , , broke.

But I'm on a very non-flexible budget. Out of every pay check I have to put away $200 every pay check (get paid twice a month).

Holy crap . . . . my friends better be saving as much as I am!!!! . . . . I just read over the journal and I hope no one thinks I'm bragging. I hate when people brag and I'd hate if anyone feels like I am. This whole thing isn't set in stone. This is just a plan that I'm going to have to work my a** off to achieve. What I do hope people get from this journal is DREAM BIG! If you save your money you could go on a vacation. I'm a big dreamer. I like BIG dreams and ideas. It gives me something to work for.
