Thank you to everyone

You people are the best! I've been looking for ages to find somewhere to fit in. Everyone here is so nice and their work is amazing. I've already started making friends on here and I've found people I can relate to and hopefully help them too.

I'm procrastinating over starting a new story. It'll be my first I'd show to anyone else so I don't think it will be the best. Are there any tips that could be useful for me? Should I keep it short or try to drain out the characters as much as I can?

I told my boyfriend about this place and he can't wait to read my stories and poems. I don't know if it's a good idea to let him though, I don't want him to get upset about anything I write. I'm sure he'll understand, he is just a little protective :)
