Nanowrimo

For those of you who have no idea what Nanowrimo is, it is an acronym for National Novel Writing Month. Every November, writers of all ages from all over the world go to write a 50,000 word novel within the 30 days of November. Any one who finishes and registers their word count wins great prizes. This year, the winners receive 5 free copies of their novel.

I won!!!!!

It was not an easy battle, writing over 2,000 words every day just to stay within the designated par. I ended up with 50,270 words and 359 pages. Now, I can work on revision and editing, which should add more words and pages.

The whole "5 free copies of your book" is amazing to me. I get to design the cover and pretty much every aspect of the book myself.

Now that NNWM is over, I can get back onto good 'ol Mibba! I cannot wait for next November though when I won't be a rookie and will raise to the veteran position.
