Gay Bashing is Sad!

Hey Mibba

So..... I was just watching some random youtibe vids when one of my friends told me a sad vid

He said that there was this ABC segment called 'What would you do?' and it mostly has gay acceptance in it

So I watched some vids of it, and was saddened at how much hate there was in the vid

Yes they were actors, but the actors impersonating the gay couple with children were real gays and it saddens them that some people were just staring and not doing anything

But there was three that made my heart melt

One was a man defending them and telling the waiter (it's about being rejected of service for being gay) to get out of his face after the waiter shooed the family out. And then when they revealed it was an acting thing, the man said that it doesn't bother him.

And there was another one where it was a lesbian couple getting bashed by a female waitress saying that not having a dad is just wrong and being gay would make their daughter gay. And a man fought back with the "don't judge" thing. Then he stormed out of the door and walked back in and handed a note to the lesbian couple with a heartwarming and touching note, saying about how you shouldn't let ignorant people let you down and that they have beautiful children

The actress, who was so touched with the man's kind act burst to tears and hugged him thank you

Now you have to remember they were still acting, but I would've cried as well!

And there was another where they put a gay male couple in a park, being all lovey-dovey holding hands and lil pecks, sitting on a bench. And what saddens me is that one mancame up to them and said 'You guys get a fucking room!" and walked off angrily. So sad I nearly cried

Then there was one woman who was buying a newspaper, saw them, smiled and said "Oh, you two are so sweet" and she sat opposite them reading her newspaper and saying how cute they were. THen the presenter comes out and she told a story on how her father was choking her with politics, religion and all those talks that lure people away from acceptance and then she realized that she was her own person and accepted people for who they were

If I were witnessing a situation like that, I would defend the couple

It's just.... saddening to me on how people are. They don't know that love is love

Hey, I'm only 13 and I'm looking up on this stuff. But that's because I'm bi and I know it now. I was still questioning about sexuality until just this week we had a camping trip and well....... I stared quite a lot

Anyways, same as the man who wrote the letter. I would do the same and hand it to them and watch them cry happily on how maybe the generation today are more accepting. I don't care if people are gay or lesbian or even attracted to anything at all! Because how I was raised it affect my views on society

I want to go see a Pride Parade myself and cheer on those people who have the courage on struttin their stuff on that day

Who else is saddened about this? I know it's not just me who has a friend or two who's gay or is just a golden-hearted person in general
