Cynthia was a mildly famous actress in the early 80's, having appeared in a few soaps, several commercials and as bit-characters in a handful of films. She bought the house in in 1983, six months before her death. Always a great over-estimator of her own ability, she thought she could handle the lavish, fast-paced lifestyle that celebrity afforded and got herself addicted to cocaine, seeing as money stopped being an object. One day when the dealer came knocking, he demanded a different kind of payment, and when he was turned down, found himself stabbing Cynthia fourteen times. Her fame, which had been ebbing away, suddenly shot through the roof. Her killer was put away and in the wake of her death, Cynthia has become a cult icon in the area.
