William Eddington

b. 1847
d. 1889

William was a rich, respectable man that came from a long line of rich, respectable men, from whom he inherited a good portion of his wealth. The rest came from his high-ranking position at the local bank. Aged twenty-one, he was married to his wife Dorothea, which seemed to be a suitable match at the time, however, as time progressed, it became obvious that the couple could not conceive a child together, which led to them becoming much more distant from each other. In 1880, William had a house built for them to live in when he was forced to move after he was put in charge of a different branch of the bank. He even employed a maid, Beatrice for them. Soon after, he began an affair with Beatrice, who was much warmer towards him than his Dorothea. In 1889, Dorothea discovered the affair, and, after pushing Beatrice down the stairs and killing her, poisoned William's food and killed him too.
