I need soms advice -/

So i need some advice people of mibba.

So i was going to ask this super nice and cute guy to prom (my prom is in march) but then i heard my friend Madison wants to ask the same guy. We r pretty close friends and i would feel bad for asking him. But then again i really like him. Compared to her i dont have much of a chance but i feel like i should ask anyway.

So people of mibba, should i ask him and essentially throw my friend under the bus or should i let her ask him? O and she doesn't know i want to ask him.
