NY Ink

okay so has most of you may know there is a new tattoo show on Spike which is ironically named, Ink Masters. The Three judges being

Dave Navarro
Chris Nunez
Oliver Peck
Yes, I get that Dave has a ton of tattoos spread out through his entire body but that does not mean he knows anything about tattooing or anything. I respect him along with the other two guys but it would have been better suited if they picked someone in the New York area like Ami James or Tim Hendricks who both oddly enough work for Chris and know him and kept Dave has strictly the host. I completely respect all three guys for what they do and who they are but I don’t completely respect the decision of the casting crew to put Dave has a judge. onto another topic aka the artists

B-Tat: who oddly enough did a horrible version of the commonly Chinese Traditional foo dog which he completely fucked up the fuck up with his horrible lines and ugh. he was horrible and he ended up off the show on the first day.
Al Fliction: Okay first of all he’s the biggest asshole in the fucking house and his fucking face hair annoys me.He did do a good job on the arm tattoo he did with incorporating the bits and pieces of the old one but he technically did not complete the task by covering up the tattoo but I give him props for how he did and he def did not do that good of a job. I still don’t like him.
Josh Woods: yes he completely covered up his tattoo with an amazing one but his tattoo was small and showed he has a weakness for covering up a larger area when it comes to tattooing but his colors blended amazingly and his lines were like perfect
Bili Vegas: I liked his tattoo, it ended up looking really good and it defiantly popped out at you. It was good and his shading was good but he also had a relatively easy one to cover in the first place.
Jeremy Miller: This kids tattoo ended up walking out on him because she most likely had a low pain tolerance which is probably why her wings were fucked up in the first place(unless your getting a tattoo like in a basement the wings should defiantly look better) and he ended up being judged of what he had which was some good shading and it would have become a pretty good tattoo of that bitch would shut the fuck up and sit still and trust me. I’ve sat in that position before to get a tattoo done and to get that same one removed later on
Lea: I am pretty sure she’s the one who fucked up the really orange like tattoo and the shading didn’t blend at all and it was just a horrible looking tattoo
Heather Sinn: her tattoo looked okay but she fucked up the fucking lady liberty which is pretty impossible for an american citizen. SHE HAS AN EAR! it was a disgrace really. Her tattoo on the pig was good but she complained….a lot. :(
Tommy Helm: So he was really good and I def liked the way his art is and how it just gives you that kid like essence when you look at it. I honestly love what he did with the cover up tattoo and what he did with the pig and I liked the feather and microphone in his final tattoo. it just popped.
Shane O’Neil: He is def a talented artist but I can’t think if he was the one who did the coy fish which I am almost certain he actually did. The tail was too small and the head was large but he did do a good job but he did have a relatively faded tattoo to deal with
James Vaughn: He did a really good job I really didn’t find much wrong with his tattoo except the fact he did not completely cover the past tattoo and you could still see it through this tattoo due to it being the same exact color ink and not being dark enough
Again, I think everyone did relatively good especially under the aspect of being timed and only have 6 hours and the amount of drawing and work put into them. Timing certainly puts pressure on everyone which is why I think some of them didn’t come out has good has they could have. I also think they should get a new judge because Dave has probably never even tattooed but that’s just my opinion.

It was an all around good show and I can’t wait till next weeks episode and I def respect all of them has artists but eh, i am not one to judge. only been tattooing for about 4 years plus 5 years apprentice
