I officially have a place to live! :D

I'm moving to Canberra in 4 days for uni. I stupidly assumed university would start in March like NSW does but I found out yesterday that it actually starts on the 3rd of February...so in 2 days I found a place to live in Canberra. The bond has been transferred to them etc. so I have a place to live down there! I go down there this weekend, ready for orientation week on Monday. :)

I currently have 0 friends in Canberra but my best friends friend just moved there for uni so hopefully I will get in contact with her and make some friends. :) I am moving into a student accommodation and I'm sharing a room with someone so there is no way I wont be able to meet people down there. That said I'm still so scared.

I'm really loving k-pop and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic at the moment...What if the person I'm sharing a room with hates them? What if I have nothing in common with them? What if they are a total bitch? What if somehow I already know them and they already hate me?

I'm freaking out. Anyone have any advice? :S Or does anyone live in Canberra and has the balls to meet a total stranger? (Everyone I meet for the next few weeks will be a total stranger so I don't really care...)
