I want to be in a band!!! *laughs* "Aw..."

Cliche? Definitely. Absurd? Absolutely. Impossible? NOT A CHANCE!!!!

We all have that moment when someone whether it be a parent, a friend, or anyone ask what you want to be when you grow up. Most people have no idea. Not to brag or anything, but I've known my whole entire life what I've wanted to be. Now why is it that me, who has had their mind set since 4 years old gets laughed at when most people are 15 and have no idea?

I want to be in a band...lead singer, guitar, writer, the whole bit. I've written about 200 songs and I think I have talent in it, I'm learning the guitar right now, I have the right mindset. Why does everyone think it is so absurd for someone to want an occupation in music?

What was Gerard Way when he was 13? Just a guy with a dream. Just like me. What about Katy Perry? Same thing. So if every famous musician starts out exactly where I am right now, why does everyone think it is so impossible for it to happen?

It just bugs me to no end. My parents just asked me and at first I wouldn't tell them. I could see they really wanted to know, so I finally said that it was cliche and stupid. They said whatever it was, it couldn't be so bad. I told them and my mom said. "We're talking in realistic terms, sweetie."

10 years from now, my name will be out there. I will show them all that with a dream and a lot of passion, I can make it. I promise that...
