Am i a fool?

Is it stupid of me to date someone Ive only known for a day? Should I have waited or will it be okay? I really like this guy and he says he likes me too... But is it too early? Ive learned so much about him in the little time we've known each other. Some of my friends approve and the others, well they dint know about it yet. At the time i thought nothing of it but now I'm starting to think that I'm taking it to fast. I really like him, i really do but i don't want to get hurt... What should i do???
