how to make your mom cry.

Our argument started out over where a bag was in the car.

Then I was standing at the doorway of her office listening to her yell, "One day you're going to grow up and wish you looked up to me as a role model while I was still around!" (or something weird like that). I just turned around and screamed back, "I never want to be like you. You're the most unstable adult I've ever seen."

And, yeah, I called her ~~~the B word~~~ (why can't we curse in journals?) because she was pissing me off. According to my dad, she's now crying and I'm grounded and I'm ungrateful and all that other stuff parents tell you when they're mad at you blah bler blah.

Looking back on it now I will admit that what I said was mean. She's suffering from jet lag, I'm about to get my period, we're all emotional and upset right now, fine.

I should apologize but I won't.
I don't like my mom for more than enough reasons.

I'm a stereotypical teen, okay? Wah.
