Clothes, why are you all so big?

Seriously, everywhere in the world it seems people are complaining about how sizes are getting smaller, and yet here, it seems they are getting bigger,

In grade nine, I used to be a zero or a two, and now I fit more comfortably into a fourteen girls. And that's after finally gaining ten pounds and growing six inches. Trust me, this isn't a confidence booster for a girl that spent all of grade nine and ten stuffing herself with food in order to reach her "friends" ideal of a normal weight.

Maybe I just noticed this because I'm one of the smaller people I know, being only 5'4, but still, it seems that everything gets bigger around here.

Especially the people, but apparently that's because we're the most obese province...

Either way, I am not happy about this. Thank god I can make my own clothes or I'd be trapped in children's clothes for years.

So, what about clothes where you live, have they gotten bigger or smaller?
