The Hunger Games- Does Any One Not Like It?

So like most books being made into movies there's this huge hype over the Hunger Games right now, but honestly I didn't like the books. I mean I only read the first and half of the second, but I didn't really enjoy the whole thing.

I think its because I don't really like Katniss, so taking in consideration the fact that you dislike the main character the whole series is going to be a waste. She just seems so... numb. I didn't feel like I got on a personal level with her. Like when she had to strip naked in front of the people from the Capitol not an ounce of self consciousness as if she did that everyday and it was no longer a big deal. I don't know, but I didn't really like her.

Plus Peeta seemed too perfect but, eh, what ever. I could get over that. I did like Haymitch though... he seemed like a pretty interesting dude.

Any way, sorry if I just dissed someones favorite book but that's just how I felt about it, plus I haven't written a journal in a while soo yeah.... Bye!
